D-Shape Glass Clamp 63×45 mm for 6–12.76 mm Glass – overview
D-Shape Glass Clamp 63×45 mm for 6–12.76 mm Glass (MOD 2011) is a D-shape (half-round) stainless steel clamp that fixes a glass infill panel to a railing post, a wall or a round handrail tube without drilling the glass. Rubber inserts sized to the glass thickness keep metal away from the glass.
It is made by UNIKIM in Ningbo, China, in AISI 304 for dry indoor areas or AISI 316 for humid, pool and coastal locations. See 304 vs 316 stainless steel if you are not sure which grade to choose.

For AISI 316 replace A2 with A4. For the finish replace the last letter: S brushed, M polished, B black, W white, R raw.
Applications
Use this clamp for glass balustrades on stairs, landings, balconies, mezzanines and terraces, and for glass infill between stainless steel posts. It suits residential and commercial projects where the panel is held on its sides rather than at the base.
Installation notes
- Glass panel height in the catalogue test set-up: 800–1,000 mm; minimum panel width 500 mm.
- Gap from handrail to top of glass, and from floor to bottom of glass: 10–50 mm (up to 120 mm with edge protection).
- Fit the clamps 100–150 mm from the top and bottom edges of the panel.
- Use the rubber insert that matches your exact glass thickness.
