180° Glass Clamp 106×45 mm – overview
The 180° Glass Clamp 106×45 mm (MOD 2050) is a 180 degree glass clamp that joins two glass panels edge to edge in a straight line, so a frameless run can continue without a post. Its rounded 106 × 45 mm body matches the round and D-shape clamps in the range.
MOD 2050 is listed on pages 39, 43 and 47 of the UNIKIM 2024 catalogue. The 90° version for corners is the 90° Glass-to-Glass Corner Clamp (MOD 2051).
UNIKIM makes it in its own factory in Ningbo, China, in AISI 304 for dry indoor areas or AISI 316 for humid, pool and coastal locations. See 304 vs 316 stainless steel if you are not sure which grade to choose.

Applications
Straight joints between frameless glass panels on balconies, terraces and stair landings; glass partitions and screens; long glass runs where a post would interrupt the view.
Installation notes
- Use at least two clamps per joint, near the top and bottom of the panels.
- Use the rubber insert for the exact glass thickness – see glass clamp rubber inserts.
- A glass-to-glass joint relies on both panels being fixed at their other edges; check panel size and loads against your local building rules.
Which glass-to-glass clamp do I need?
For straight joints in 6–12.76 mm glass use MOD 2050. For 10/12 mm glass you can also use the rectangular 180° Glass-to-Glass Connector Clamp (MOD 2054). For corners use the 90° Glass-to-Glass Corner Clamp.
