Slot Tube Wall Flange – overview
The Slot Tube Wall Flange (MOD 1140) is a round flange with a short collar that takes the end of the slot tube. It is screwed to the wall through two holes, so the handrail is held firmly where the glass meets the wall.
MOD 1140 is listed on page 14 of the UNIKIM 2024 catalogue in three sizes for slot tube Ø42.4, Ø48.3 and Ø60.3 mm (1.5 mm wall). It belongs to the Slot Tube Handrail System – all parts together with the Round Slot Tube Handrail (MOD 0300).

Applications
Ends of glass balustrade handrails at walls on stairs, landings and balconies.
Installation notes
- Cut the slot tube square and deburr it; push the fitting in and fix it as shown in the installation guide (glue or screws).
- Order the fitting for the same tube size as your slot tube: Ø42.4, Ø48.3 or Ø60.3 mm.
- Fit the Slot Tube Rubber Strip (MOD 0842 / 0848 / 0860) for your glass before placing the tube on the glass.
Flange or wall end fitting?
Use the round flange MOD 1140 for a classic look; use the compact Slot Tube Wall End Fitting (MOD 1171) or Slot Tube Wall End Fitting (MOD 1172) for a square, modern wall connection.
